JD’s Notebook: White House shakeup

Last Friday President Trump announced on Twitter that he was replacing White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus with Homeland Secretary General John Kelly.  The sudden change in one of his senior staff positions came exactly a week after White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer resigned following the appointment of Anthony Scaramucci as Communications Director, who subsequently resigned on Monday. This week in pictures: July 17th – 23rd

The ANC MP launched her campaign for the ANC presidency at the Walter Sisulu square in Kliptown on Saturday.   The President is also concerned that the investigation is widening and told the New York Times this week that any probe into family finances would be out of bounds.   Deputy Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders will replace Spicer in August when he is set to leave while New York City Hedge Fund manager Anthony Scaramucci will assume the role of White House Communications Director.

The phenomena of Trump’s election was something far more dynamic than just a political mandate from the masses of people that found a romance with the the Republican candidate’s populist style.
