Bell Pottinger, the Public Relations company that helped the Zuptas with formulating political rhetoric such as the ‘white monopoly’ and ‘radical economic transformation’ labels, cited social media attacks as the reason why they have dropped the Zuptas as a client. Following almost two weeks of catastrophic activity within the South African national government, world-renowned satirical artist, Zapiro, released his latest piece, depicting President Zuma and Atul Gupta engaging in a horrific act of raping South Africa, visually depicted as a woman.
